RC216 - Longest Day Rideabouts
You are cordially invited to the RC216 Do for 2010, where RC = RealClassic, 216 = 21st June, and Do = riding gently about on moorland on motorcycles Ancient or Modern. Emphasis on the gently.
We’ll meet at Subway Truck Stop, Plusha, Launceston, PL15 7RR 01566 782 882, at 10:30 on Monday 21/6/10 and at about 11:00 we’ll set off on an ill-disciplined fifty mile ramble around the well tarmaced lanes of Bodmin Moor.

At 13:00 we will be at the picnic area near the cafe in CARDINHAM WOODS, Fletcher’s Bridge, Bodmin - Forestry Commission place just off the A30, handy for the crematorium. John the Forester says we can park our bikes for free as long as we’re not too legion.
On these occasions the weather is usually wet and pretty windy. Given that this is a recreational activity rather than an endurance test there’s no shame in deciding on the day that you’ve better things to do. Really, that’s perfectly O.K. - just have a gander down the page at what’s happened on other years if you don’t believe me.
We’ stop for a final cuppa at Subway Truck Stop, Plusha about 3:00 before going our separate ways.

and in 2006 we had a good troll round
Bodmin Moor entertained us in 2007 -
In 2008 we went for a spin along the North Coast
and stopped at the Hartland Quay Hotel (http://www.hartlandquayhotel.com/) to drink their fine coffee while we munched our packed lunches.
Longest Day Ride 2009 - what with one thing and another there wasn’t one. Looking forward to 21/6/2010!!!
